Hello all,

   Its Thursday night, and its snowing like bejezuss... and its minus bloody 20 outside, and has been for 2 days now, in fact they are snapping lamp-posts off dogs its that cold!!

  On the subject of snow, Ive had a thought for a while now, and wonder if anyone else has any ideas, I remember that at school I was taught that no 2 snowflakes are alike                 ................................................................   

.........................How the fu¤k do they know? Ive been counting them today and I ran out of numbers , call me cynical but I find it very hard to believe that there are no identical twins in the half a foot of white stuff I have outside my window, let alone if you count the north pole and Glasgow and other such cold places. Have "they" checked them all, I don't think so!

  Anyway, Its been great to see my Dad, he was here from Friday till Tuesday, and experienced the Stevenson household in full sickness, Luka had the shits, Malin had a stomach upset , (aka the shits as well) and I was a bit tired and just getting over the last traces of my cold/flu thingy, so It wasn't the most exciting holiday hes ever had I'm sure, but he seemed to have fun with Luka and Luka loved having him here, so not to bad really.

 Anyway, Me and the missus have been rowing all day about dressing gown belts, strange but true, so I'm gonna say goodbye now and carry on the row for another 5 min or so, then say I'm sorry ;-)

        don't drink and drive kids....

Hello folks,

   Its been a while since I wrote last, whats happend???..............

   Well we went out for a romantic meal on valentines day, that was very nice, Bettan babysat for us and it was so nice to have a whole evening to ourselves, then we went up to Gondolan (one of Stockholms poshest and expensive restaurants) for a Gin and tonic , and Malin had a strawberry daiquiri, OK ya?

 Luka has been sick again , he had fever and his cough got worse on Thursday so Malin stayed home with him and I stayed home on Friday , poor little fella hes been sick more than well since he started daycare but hes been a little better today , still grumpy though,

lifes really not much fun when your sick and only 2 foot 1

My Father arrived yesterday afternoon, always nice to see him and Luka loves him 2 bits, hes got a frequent flier account with KLM now (my dad that is , not Luka) as he comes out about 5 or 6 times a year, and we had a nice time today walking around Stockholm, and then met up with our Friends Marlene and Rob and there daughter Lily (Lukas future girlfriend??) and had a bite to eat and a beer. My Dad is babysitting tonight so we are going down to the local "Pub Banken" for a couple of beers, out twice in 1 week, Luxury!!

  Don't eat that yellow snow folks....

Hi folks,

   Sorry about the lack of blogging over the weekend but Ive been out at a 48 hour rave party in Iceland and only just made it to work on time this morning after flying back in the early hours...

 Well actually Ive been trying to get my PC to talk to my telephone, and traveled no further than Stockholm city center, but it sounded good...

  Its very annoying that the phone and computer have stopped talking, especially as my phone is also my camera and mp3 player , no idea whats wrong, and it doesn't really help that my Windows xp is in Swedish , and my technical Swedish is not so hot... well bloody freezing actually , so all the cool pictures Ive taken this week will have to wait until they are on better terms.

 Speaking of speaking Swedish I had my first real evening at SFI tonight (Swedish for idiots) and it went really well , I actually understood what the tutor was trying to teach us , not so much sank in, but I got the point a little more.... gramma and speling aint never been my strongest points in English so I suppose it will take a while. The main thing that is different from the other 2 times Ive started Swedish classes is that everyone there seemed there to learn , not just attend and piss about so they could get social money . Also the fact that my promotion at work depends upon being able to answer the telephones within a couple of months is a great incentive not to fall asleep.

 The day started out a bit shitty after being up most of the night with a bad stomach , I was late for work , then the first 2 customers I saw had problems with exhaust systems I had sold them last week.. but I suppose if things are going to go tits up its better to get it out the way Monday morning and not bugger up the rest of your week.

 The guys finally turned up to install the shiny new racking in the warehouse and it actually all fits very nice and lovely , so that is a great relief , I can stop sweating over it now . After lunch (which I spent doing my homework , another reminder that I ain't changed that much over the years!) things got better , in so much as nothing went wrong , and the working day finished off uneventfully , which is OK in my book.

  I'm a little sad that I only saw Luka for 10 min. today before I went to work , but we will have some fun tomorrow after I get him from daycare to make up for it and Malin tells me they had a nice day today (she doesn't work mondays... clever girl!)  and we had a great day yesterday taking him to the open playschool in the city where he caused havoc for a couple of hours (pictures of are on my phone....GGGRRRRRRR)

  Bedtime now so sleep tight boys and girls

apparently that is a 911 song... not owning or even stealing any of there music I don't know, but there you go...

 Well , its almost 11 O'Clock Friday night and Malin is snoring on the sofa,

the cat is sitting on the windowsill longing for summer (as we all are),

and I'm not in the best of moods.

Its funny how fast you can get stuck in a rut , without even knowing you are digging yourself down into it, but apparently here we are..... (a) work ,(b) baby time , (c) eat , (d)sit on the sofa watching shit on TV , (e) blog a little , (f) bed , get up next day..... squeeze in as much cleaning and washing inbetween as you can.............return to (a)

 BULLSHIT!!!........... I'm having none of it!!! , I resolve to add some interest into our home life , I'm not sure how ,  but after giving it a little thought I'm sure I will figure it out , perhaps Luka and Malin would enjoy some indoor bungee jumping??

 Or perhaps now Luka has started school we just haven't figured out how to arrange our lives so we are all happy and everything gets done , ...... and we are not broke by the end of the month...

 Thats gotta be the hard bit , but there is a pay rise in the cashpipe , for both of us , so things are going from tight to better , which is good , the sooner we can afford a polish cleaner the better I say!!

 At least Luka is dead happy , his cold and cough is loads better (as is mine and Malins) and he has been in the best of moods tonight :-)

 Oh, and finally , the squint eyed small brained elk smelling 1 legged w#%kers that were coming to put my new shelving up at work (that I've busted my ass and brain over for 2 days 'cause they had to come today) wont be coming until Monday morning..

 I hope they have a shit weekend

Well , Just after 8 PM actually, and thanks for the help Anders, you are truly crown prince of the information super highway!!!

   A funny old day at work today, Ive been really busy and got LOADS done, very unusual, especially as we have 2 men down sick, (get well soon Krilla and Thomas F!!) leaving just 4 of us in our department, but I managed to borrow a Friend from another department and got everything I was planning to get done today done!´I'm still going in early tomorrow though because the space has to be clear by 8AM Friday and the guys that install the new wracks are on megacrowns an hour so if there is any delay I will be in deep shit!

 It was about -12 degrees this morning when I went to work, coldest day so far this winter, I thought I had lost my gloves yesterday so jeeze I was pleased when I found them this morning. People were  snapping dogs off lampposts and trees as I walked down to the train.

 Luka was in much better form when I collected him this afternoon, He loves the daycare and didn't really want to come home, much more fun to go headfirst down the slide

I'm gonna send an E-mail to all my contacts in England about this site so I hope that more old Friends are reading this, if so HELLO to you all :-)

I am running out of song titles already and its less than half way thru the week!!! Oi Oi Oi!!

    Its been a funny old day, Ive been Dead busy and got nothing done. I seemed to be running around all day but my "TO DO" list never got any shorter, then our MD gave me the news that  the new shelving I have orderd is being erected on Friday in our big warehouse, (I was expecting it next month) which means I have to find a temporary home for about 40 pallets and 40 shelves worth of odd shaped American exhaust pipes, somewhere we can still find what we are looking for , but out of the way of everybody else..HA HA HA.... and now I'm collecting Luka from daycare there is no chance of staying late so I'm gonna be working my little white ass off for the next 2 days, Still at least I only have to work it off until 3.30pm!

 Poor Luka was very grumpy tonight, he is still struggling with his cough and cold, the doctor says there is nothing we can give him as he is so small , he just has to live with being snotty and coughy until hes better, it seems unfair but I suppose we all have to live with it..

 Malin is working late tonight, she has just called to say she is on the way home (9,PM) and I feel ready for bed, I think its one of the laws of nature.....

My little Swedish princess also has another hairdressing award to try and win soon, so I suppose I wont be seeing so much of her for the next few weeks, as these things seem to be organised mainly in the evenings, (In the pub???) but at least I will get chance to work on my website.

First day of Swedish (night)school today and very nice it was as well!!!

 I was 20 min late (no change over the last 20 years there!) after messing about finding the place but when I Finally got there the classroom was empty and there was a big pile of papers with a note attached... "no school today due to illness, here is some work to do, you can stay in the classroom or take it home with you" well, it took me a while to decide what to do, but 5 min later I was on the train back home.

 It was nice to get back home and see Luka before he went to bed, his smiling face always cheers me up after a shitty day :-) actually today was not too bad as workdays go, I had a meeting with my boss over finishing work early to pick Luka up from nursery school and that went well, I'm going to be starting at 8 and finishing at 3.30 for the next couple of months and for the time I miss out on the government pays 80% of my wage, as they have done for both of us for all the time we have had off with him since Malin was 7 months pregnant, I love Sweden I do!!!

 I think its strange that it doesn't matter how much of a good day it is really, I still find it impossible to get enthusiastic about Mondays, its a shitty day to start the week with in my opinion, why not start the week with a Thursday, then its only 2 days till the weekend, and perhaps then throw an extra Sunday in around Wednesday to pick everyone up mid week, perhaps I can start a campaign and we can all write to our MP's.

 Another option is I can stop waffling bollox and do what I really want to and go and lie on the sofa and watch some TV, ... I really cant be doing with mondays.....

Hi folks,

   Well the couple of light ales last night turned into a swimmingpool full of booze, as Krilla would say , we were a little BABASHOOBA by the end of the night, nice to just chill out and relax at home tho, (and cheaper than going out!!) but I am suffering a little today, managed to get down to the pub at lunch time and have a livener with krilla befor he went home, which made me feel much better for a while.

 Malin has been realy suffering with this cough/cold/flu thingy today, so I took Luka out into town this afternoon  so she could have a rest, I dont have so much patience when im not feeling 100% and get pram-rage when im pushing Luka round, why oh why do so many Stockholmers walk round with there eyes shut, Its not so easy to swerve a pram to miss some idiot who walks out in front of you, so from today I have stopped even trying to...so if you are one of those people... BEWARE!!

Acctualy, while im on the subject, why havent 90% of the people that use the trains/pendeltåg worked out that if they didnt stand right in front of the door while you are trying to get off, they might acctualy get on faster??? and also what the f¤%# gives people the right to push in front of me just because I am pushing a pram, Im now quite good at "accidently" clipping the back of peoples legs  when this happens,  I mean its just plain rude,,,, IT MAKES ME SOOOOO ANGRY !!!!GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHH

 On a lighter note, it was very lovely walking round the city, the days are getting a little longer and sunset in stockholm is allways something to see

 Anyway, its allmost 11 o clock and im in danger of turning into a pumpkin, so Ill say bye for now...

Its Friday and I survived work today!!!

     I took it pretty easy, as i still feel a bit shitty, chest hurts, tierd and fuzzy headed, the doctor called me at work and told me my test came back positive and I need antibiotics, I feel quite justified now for moaning, im sure that Malin thinks I have been putting it on a bit......but it also means we probably will all need antibiotics as we are all still ill at the moment.

 Luka seems to be learning so fast since he started daycare, we sat for allmost 40 minuets playing with balls of paper, a bowl and plastic spoon tonight, hes never had that sort of attention span befor, and yesterday he learned how to chink glasses when you say "skol" (cheers). Im proud that im teaching my son skills that will be usefull in later life.

 Im doing washing at the moment , like a good house wife should, and Malin is in the pub with some old work freinds, she has some big hairdressing thingy this weekend with Vidal Sassoon so she will be out tommorow nite also, but I intend to get down the pub for the last hour or 2 when she gets back later, Friday is the night all the English come out in Kallhäll (all 4 of us!!) so its allways fun, and tommorow Krilla , my workmate is coming round to explore the wonders of web site building with me, we may also drink a light ale or 2 if we are feeling crazy, but no more I suppose if im taking tablets.
