Winter bloody winter
Well hi folks,
It seems today that someone has flicked the switch marked "WINTER", the last 2 weeks have been very English, weather-wise, IE. wet, grey and well.....grey and wet, but today, Snow, and its been below 0c all day, this was our carpark this afternoon:-
Its kind of nice actually , it really feels like winter now, although I'm not big on the 5 hours of daylight in a few weeks, but at least it gives me chance to do some astronomy, this is a no-go in the middle of summer due to a lack of darkness, but its great in the winter , apart from the numbing cold that is. I have actually been out with my telescope tonight for an hour (Down in the local park, I wouldnt have done that in Walsall!!) Had a look at Mars, its still to small to see any details at the moment, but its round and red, lol , and had a look at 17P/Holmes , a comet that has flared up unexpectedly, it looks like a bit of frog spawn, all translucent and diffuse, Quite exciting stuff (I realy am a nerd!!)
Anyway, the family is good, Malin is tierd of being pregnant, but still has 4 months left poor Gal, and Luka has a bit of a cold, but otherwise all is fine and dandy.
