checking in....

Hi friends and family, Its been a while again, but here I am, and I promise not to write anything about poo in this posting, I am sorry for my blogging in the past having been quite shitecentric, but I suppose thats how you get with a couple of young Kids ;-)

Anyways, things back here on the ranch are pretty good, The kids are fine and Mommy and Daddy are knackered but happy. It occurred to me the other day that I realy could not remember the last time I was acctualy bored, other than at work that is.... Along with evolving another arm, when you get kids you should also gain the power to morph time, I have not read a book from cover to cover in a couple of years now, and I have quite a backlog of good reading I have been given for birthdays and Christmases, along with some text books on astrobiology for an article I am attempting to write in my (HA!) spare time and half a dozen half read magazines in the toilet. Malin is always digging me for how long it takes for my number twos (there I go again!!) but its the only quiet time I get!!!

On the Kiddy front, I went along to some government building to sign a paper owning up to Nova today, I had to do the same for Luka as Me and Malin are not married, it basically says I accept they are mine and I will pay half to there upkeep and have rights to them half the time should we ever split up. I think its kind of nice, but I couldn't see it working in Walsall..... anyway, as far as I can work out, they probably just beat my mortgage papers as the most expensive I will ever sign!

Nova has put on a load more weight, she is now around 5 kilos and looks like a baby rather than a very cute skinned rabbit... This is a good thing. She has also learned to scream, which is not such a good thing!! She is still not a patch on her brother at the same age though, which is a very good thing indeed as he could shake windows at 30 paces when he was 6 weeks old!!

On the subject of her brother, the little angel has learned how to throw tantrums, screaming and attempting Gandhi style passive resistance when you try and drag him out of shops and restaurants, away from Ice cream stands and out the way of speeding locomotives etc. etc.. Actually on the whole he is a joy to be around but he has his moments as I suppose do all kids.

Last Sunday we took him to a local indoor play park thingy full of bouncy castles and ball pits, to meet his best friend from day care Oskar. This seemed like a bit of a milestone, him meeting mates out of school, and they had the best of fun.

It was a bit hard work for Daddy, who had his yearly teambuilding event the day before, which involved breaking out of a prison, eating Tapas and lots of Ale, but the kids (And Nanny Yvonne- Malins Mother) had a great time of it :-)

Loads of pictures from all this and more can be found in my facebook account.

A blast from the past!!!!

Well, there are many things I could blog about tonight.....

The joys of having a new arrival in the house, the excitement generated by the Cassini space probe discovering complex organic molecules ejected from Saturns moon Enceladus, the political situation in Zimbabwe or the merits and down points of having a communist regime host the Olympic games, but I have discovered something much more interesting and important, something I am sure all my peers will relate to , and something I have not seen for many many years..............

Yes folks, this is the fabled "White dog poo" , found outside our apartment last week. As far as I am aware, it has not been seen in the wild since around 1983 allthough there was a report from Whitby in 1985 this was never confirmed.

I am not sure if the situation was the same in Sweden, but in England in the 70's it was everywhere, along with Disco and Flares, white dog poo was one of THE icons of the era.

Always taking the classic "long bits and round bits" form, it adorned pavements, parks and playgrounds up and down the country. Then suddenly it was no more, and unlike Flares and disco, White dog poo never made any comeback bids...... Until now!!!!

This could be the start of something big... remember where you heard it first folks!!!!
